Tammie Schmidt

CEO | OWNER

When it comes to financial strategy and sustainable business growth, Tammie is a total pro. She has a BS in Accounting and worked as an accountant, controller, and financial consultant in the corporate and non-profit sectors in the Rogue Valley before starting her own business in 2016. Tammie also taught QuickBooks for Business Owners at Rogue Community College. To call her a bookkeeper would be inaccurate: According to her long list of satisfied clients, Tammie is a financial superhero, providing strategic oversight and financial counsel for small businesses and non-profit organizations from Grants Pass to Ashland. Tammie is a trustworthy and patient wife, mother, and friend who loves supporting businesses and nonprofits committed to helping people. She loves nothing more than knowing her work helps passionate people do good in the world.

Laura Pearson

CO-OWNER | STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Laura joined Rogue Solutions in May of 2019 as the first member of its staff, and became an official part owner in July of 2020. With a background in business & management, Laura and her husband had started a small business together in 2012 and expanded to another location in Grants Pass by 2017. Her existing business knowledge & experience have been essential to her role at Rogue Solutions, and she thoroughly enjoys learning and expanding her abilities. As a local business owner herself, she understands the needs and challenges facing our community and loves using her expertise to help our clients achieve their business & financial goals. Laura is a devoted wife and mother, and in her spare time enjoys vacationing to warm places, trailer camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Melissa Cale

STAFF ACCOUNTANT | QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Melissa is a staff accountant extraordinaire who works in the background at Rogue Solutions. She assists with high level clean-ups, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, A/P & A/R, and other day-to-day tasks that keep the client’s books accurate and up to date. Melissa holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. She has worked in a wide range of professions including the healthcare industry, the US Navy, and now in the financial sector. Her career goals include fostering business relationships and assisting companies to grow and serve the Grants Pass community.

Lori Briggs

PAYROLL & ACCOUNTING CLERK

Lori is a 5th generation Grants Pass resident. She spent many years doing accounting for various companies. Part of those years she obtained an insurance license, sold medical insurance, and owned a landscape company. She decided to completely turn her career around after 23 years of caregiving and started here at Rogue Solutions in November of 2020. Lori is excited to learn new things late in life! Her role here involves processing payroll for our clients, as well as various bookkeeping functions such as reconciliations, data entry, and Accounts Payable & Receivable. She enjoys working with our clients and strives for positive communication in all her work. Lori loves cohesive teams of people and feels grateful to be part of this one!

MEL FORD

OPERATIONS MANAGER | ACCOUNTING CLERK

Mel joined the RSA team in April 2021 with a background of experience in business and operations management. As co-owner and operator of an online consulting business alongside her husband for several years, Mel has done everything from office admin & bookkeeping to client management and multi-media production. Her real passion though, is for improving systems and processes, which is what she’s most delighted to be helping with at Rogue Solutions! Her role here is one of flexible team support with all things operational – including onboarding, access management, work distribution, software tech, problem-solving, client management, various bookkeeping tasks – generally making sure our workflow runs smoothly and evolves with the needs of our clients and team! Mel loves helping our clients every day and is thrilled to continue expanding her skills to support the businesses at the heart of our community. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, reading, watching good movies, walking with her husband, and spending time in nature.

AMANDA FRISIUS

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER | ACCOUNTING CLERK

Amanda moved to the valley from Reno to be close with family and soon after, joined the RSA team as a receptionist and accounting clerk in March of 2022. With 15 plus years in the medical field and previous office management roles, she had decided to shift to doing something she was truly passionate about – bookkeeping. Amanda particularly enjoyed data entry and accounts payable functions, and after getting her certificate in bookkeeping, she quickly became an essential part of the Rogue Solutions team doing just that. Amanda keeps the office running smoothly with her organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. She assists with everything from scheduling and admin to data entry, including a variety of bookkeeping functions. Her friendly personality quickly puts others at ease, and she loves working with such a close-knit team that values her contribution. Amanda is a dog-whisperer at heart and always has at least one “fur baby” to spoil. In addition to her dogs, in her spare time she enjoys mini trips with her boyfriend, the ocean, and exploring the many beautiful local wineries. Amanda believes in striving to be a little better each day than the day before, and this passion for helping our clients thrive shows through in all she does.

MJ DELEY

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

MJ joined Rogue Solutions in January 2024 to assist with specialized bookkeeping functions. She received her Bachelors degree in healthcare, but decided to transition into the business field after a few years, realizing that she loves working with numbers, data and analytics. After four years working for a credit union as an Operations Specialist, she gained insight on the ins and outs of financials. She is excited to expand her skillset in accounting and eager to learn everything she can to succeed as a Staff Accountant. When she isn’t working, she is enjoying time with her husband and adopted terrier. MJ is happy to be part of a great team and wonderful community and looks forward to seeing the continued growth experienced by Rogue Solutions and their clients.
